Three suspects who broke into a complex in Pretoria this week have been apprehended and handed over to the SAPS.
A call was logged yesterday 3 March, saying suspects in a white BMW had entered the complex and were breaking into one of the units. On arrival, the officer was met at the gate by a speeding BMW exiting the premises and matching the description.
Fidelity ADT Reaction Officer, Moshe Sethole and Officer Eddy Shilubane tried to stop the car from exiting but the suspects resisted and managed to speed off. The officers immediately pursued the suspects vehicle which lost control and rolled at Van Der Hoff Street.
The suspects were apprehended trying to exit the vehicle and run away. All three suspects were cuffed and handed over to SAPS. On further investigation two sets of different number plates were found inside the vehicle and some tools used to break into the property. As the homeowner was away on business, extra security arrangements were made to secure the premises. “We would like to commend our officers on their professional approach and the part they played in apprehending these suspects,” says Leon Muller District Manager Fidelity ADT.
